Hi! I'm Hana - a writer from Florida passionate about using data and digital journalism to tell rich stories.

I reported on topics from VR to Iran's internet blackouts for The MIT Tech Review in 2022. Prior, I interned with The Washington Post and Boston's NPR affiliate; in 2016 I pitched an (ongoing!) show on Florida politics to my hometown NPR station. I recently graduated with highest honors in Biology from Harvard, where serving as Editorial Chair of The Harvard Crimson was my pride and joy. My piece on Harvard's private prison investments is a close second, named the best column nationwide in 2022 by the Associated Collegiate Press.

Journalism can never be silent  it must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air. - Henry Grunwald
